What it is
A story about food, told honestly.
Most of us have no real idea what happens to our food before it reaches the plate. Informed follows the food on your plate through every step of the value chain, from the grass it starts on to the table it ends up on, with Enrike, a sustainability researcher, asking the questions you would ask if you were standing there.
It won't tell you what to think. It shows you how the system actually works.
Season 1 follows beef, from the farm to the feedlot, the abattoir, retail, the kitchen, and finally your plate, stopping to dig into the hard questions at each step.
By the end, you will know enough to make your own call about what you eat.

Grass to table. The full value chain.
